Default Japanese Retro Analog Wrist Watch

The Showa Retro Heisi Pop Analog Watch would be great if you were alive in Japan from 1926 to 1989. Then you'd appreciate the fact that in order to extract the time from this watch, you have to dial 117 on the rotary face. Once you do that, a robotic woman will announce the time to you—probably in Japanese.
Why would anyone go through such pains to tell the time? Because this emulates the 117 dialing system people used for 60 years to get the time in Japan. Neat if you're an old Japanese lady, but utterly useless if you're not. – Jason Chen
