Default Hard-drive Failure Related Issues you might see (READ ME FIRST)

Hello,

Just wanted to post in regards to the recent problem with mainstream.navigatoris.us server, were most part of the people is hosted. Since we had to do a complete FULL OS RE-INSTALL.

We might have missed some configurations, or we might see some problems we can fix. But we need your help, for you to tell us whats wrong.

Apache, PHP and mysql are the same version as they were before. However, I haven't added the PHP eAccelerator yet as the priority is to get all the websites and customers online.

Besides that, I need you to let me know if any of your PHP scripts are giving you trouble.

All the e-mail that was sent to your e-mail address while the server was shutdown for maintenance will be received. Commonly, e-mail servers try to re-send the e-mail each 12 hours, and some each 24 hours. So please be patient.

We thought that fixing the issue with a new hard-drive incurring in downtime, was better in the long run as customer data (mysql databases, emails, etc) wouldn't be lost. If we waited more we could have seen the Hard-drive not work anymore causing data loss.

Let me know if you are noticing any issues to fix them, thanks again for your cooperation and business with us.

Regards,
Francisco

Hey, just wanted to drop you a quick message... everything was working fine for me untill I had a random glitch (about five mins ago). I couldn't ftp anything, and my cpanel's readout was strange. After about 3 mins, the error went away with no problems.

I'll edit my post if I have a later issue, I just thought I'd mention this.
