When I see my calendar in the Navigation Pane, all dates in the month are shown in bold type, even those dates without entries on them. How do I cause my calendar to show in bold type only those dates with entries on them?
Thanks- Sheljudy |

Hi-
I'm using Outlook 2003. I don't get an error message as such, but rather am describing my situation under "normal" usage. When I previously used Outlook 2000, for example, a date on the calendar (in the Navigation Pane) was only in bold type if an entry was contained on that particular date. Thanks for any help you can give me. Sheljudy |

I am not very into Outlook 2003, but I will try to help. See if you have any "Tasks" that you haven't dissmissed, then create a new appointment in the calendar for let's say the 18th, close outlook. And try to see the calendar. Let me know if it works. |

Sorry,I don't utilize the Tasks part of the Calendar. I just use the Calendar for appointments and reminders, including recurring events.
To recap: When I used Outlook 2000, a glance at a calendar month in the Navigator Pane would show which days in the month had an entry (i.e., an appointment or reminder) by showing those days in bold type. All other days of the month were in regular type. Perhaps Outlook 2003 does not have the same convenience that Outlook 2000 had? I'd like to think that instead, it's a matter of checking or unchecking a preference box within some option but I can't find where. Thanks again for your help. |

That's the view I was hoping to see on my Outlook calendar. It looks like you had an entry on April 10th (bold type), and on no other days of the months shown on your calendar. I guess I'll play around with the options again to see if I can get the desired results.
Thanks again- Sheljudy |

Also, even if you don't use it. I would check the "Task" settings as well, it appear that when you have a meeting or anything on the calendar there's a window that pop's up, remembering you of that event. Maybe you have dismiss all setting turned on, so no reminders pop-up anymore, or do you get pop-ups? Francisco |
