I'd just like to say that Francisco was very prompt and professional in how he handled this little crisis. This definitely wasn't his fault, and a quick google news search will reveal just how widespread this problem has been beyond Navigatoris.
I'm very happy here with this provider. And I intend to stay. |

Hello,
I am going to contact cPanel - to see if there's a script or a way to restore or move the index.php from the backups to the current accounts. Because, the Restore Backups option will overwrite the mySQL DB's and e-mail configuration of the account and restore it when the backup was created. Just a reminder, the backups are done each Sunday at 1AM. Will get back to you guys. In the meantime, if you need a quick fix, you can upload your backup of the index.php that was placed before or post here and I will restore it manually. I could do it all manually, but restoring over 300 index.html or .php is a pain and I would have to stay all day on it. Francisco |

Would you mind restoring the backup for mcpete.org please. My backup is currently at a different location to me... Thanks, Pete. |

I only restored the index.html of public_html - let me know if it's the one. Have you done any full backups lately? If you have a backup in your home directory that has the index.php we need I can restore only that from it. Since it seems like your backup on the system (only the index) has been corrupted. Bueno, con algunas precauciones ya que había anulado algunos componentes de Joomla que eran vulnerables. Last edited by lbarriocanal : 08-11-2006 at 02:57 PM. |
