Default mainstream :: Hard-drive Failure

The server mainstream.navigatoris.us after giving us problems with the mySQL server for the past day has presented problems.

The hard-drive has died.

We are copying the data off the home directories to our secondary drive as we speak.

mySQL Databases were lost.

Sites affected are those who did not complete transfer to move to new server blueberry.

We're getting the new home directories restored on the new blueberry server as soon as we can.

For mySQL data, we can only restore the backup from Two weeks ago.

Francisco

OK,

We found a backup for 70% of accounts, from today it seems.

We are restoring those backups instead of re-creating accounts, for some accounts there might be the need to re-create the account though

All accounts from backups (today) have been restored.

Some accounts were not on the today backups, people who has informed me about their cPanel USERNAME - I have offered the last good backups (the day of the hacking).

There is TODAY's MYSQL DATA as well, so you can combine two weeks old backups (and replace the index.php) + TODAY'S MYSQL Backup = working site as it was today, requires a bit of work though.

If someone needs help with that, open a support ticket and I will gladly assist

Thumbs up

All accounts have been setup back on the server.

I am going to finish setting up the DNS Cluster (NM.navigatoris.net reports and error).

I had to restore 30+ sites manually, I did not restore the mySQL databases on some accounts.

Please send a support ticket to get that done.

Thank you all for your support.
