Default Add a Member to a Mailing List in Outlook Express

I like things clean and organized. Of course (and unfortunately), this does not mean that everything around me is cleanly organized. But I like it that way, and I appreciate all help I can get — help like Outlook Express provides it with the mailing lists I have created.

It's easy to add address book members to a mailing list in Outlook Express, but adding recipients to a mailing list without having them appear in the address book, too, is a simple thing to do, too. And it helps me keep address book and mailing lists neatly separated.

To add a member to a mailing list in Outlook Express:
›› Step by Step Screenshot Walkthrough
Select Tools | Address Book... from the Outlook Express menu.
Highlight the mailing list you want to add subscribers to in the list of address book entries.
Click Properties.
Type the email address of the new recipient in the E-mail: entry field at the bottom of the dialog.
Optionally, add a name to the subscribed email address as well.
Click Add.
Finally, click OK and close the address book.

To add multiple addresses, repeat steps 4 and 5.
